Major T-Birds snap skid

Soo Major Thunderbirds managed to halt a 13-game losing streak today with a 4-1 win over the North Bay Minor Trappers.

The Major T-Birds had not won since a season-opening victory over the Timmins Majors.

While still in last place in the nine-team Great North Midget Hockey League, the win for the Major T-Birds improved their record to 2-13-0.

Cole Delarosbil netted a pair of goals to spark the Soo past the minor midget visitors from North Bay.

Delarosbil has played in 11 of the Soo’s 15 games thus far this season and now has five goals.

Nathan Fortin and Isaac Parise both had three-point games for the Soo in today’s win. Fortin scored once and had two assists while Parise assisted on three of the four Soo goals.

  1. 2-13-0. should also include the goals for and against. its gonna be a long season for these boys. Might need a major change behind the bench.
