New GM for U18 Hounds
As Denny Lambert is the new head coach of the Soo Jr. Greyhounds of the Great North Under 18 Hockey League, he has brought a familiar sidekick on board to be the general manager of the program.
Hockey News North has confirmed that Trevor Zachary will take over from Joe Albert as the GM of the U18 Jr. Hounds of the Great North. Zachary was the GM for the Soo Thunderbirds of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League for four successful years beginning in 2017 and Lambert was the head coach for one of the seasons.
Meanwhile, as Lambert is the new bench boss and Zachary takes over as the GM, the U18 Jr. Hounds are next expected to finalize the addition of assistant coaches.
The Jr. Hounds have a record of 1-4-0 through the first five games of the 2023-2024 Great North season.
