Win or else. Soo Major Thunderbirds and Kapuskasing Flyers are both staring at elimination in the semi-final playoffs of the Great North Midget Hockey League.

Both teams are down two games to none in their respective best-of-five sets.

The fourth-seeded Major Thunderbirds dropped a pair of road games to the unbeaten, top-ranked North Bay Major Trappers on the weekend, losing by 5-0 and 10-0 scores.

Game 3 is slated for John Rhodes Community Centre in Sault Ste. Marie this Saturday at 7 p.m.

Meanwhile, no. 2 seed Kapuskasing heads to Sudbury down 2-0 after the Flyers stunningly lost a pair of home games to the third-ranked Nickel Capital Wolves on the weekend, by 4-3 and 5-3 margins.

Game 3 is scheduled for this Saturday night at 7:00 at Gerry McCrory Countryside Arena in Sudbury.
