Pint size forward Lucas Signoretti has been a prolific points producer ever since signing with the Espanola Paper Kings of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League early last season.

In just 45 games for the Paper Kings in 2022-2023 — regular season and playoffs included — the 5-foot-6, 168 pound Signoretti totalled 42 goals, 44 assists, 86 points.

And thus far this 2023-2024 season, Signoretti has a league leading 42 goals, 58 assists, 100 points in 44 games for Espanola.

Add it all up and through just 89 games in his NOJHL career to date, Signoretti has 84 goals, 102 assists, 186 points.

Signoretti has also found the time to skate in 69 games in the Ontario Hockey League between the Erie Otters and Sudbury Wolves. Between the two, he has managed four goals, eight assists, 12 points.

What says a lot about Espanola as a franchise is that when Signoretti first left the OHL, he had the choice of a number of teams in the Canadian Jr. Hockey League to play for and he chose the Paper Kings.
