He is a 20-year old gun slinger from Western Canada, a pure goal scoring machine who is in his second season in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League.

Mason Svarich

Hailing from Stony Plain, Alberta, 6 foot, 170 pound forward Mason Svarich debuted in the NOJHL in 2022-2023 with the Hearst Lumberjacks. In 57 regular season games with Hearst, Svarich struck for 30 goals and added 24 assists for 54 points. He then potted three goals and added an assist in six playoff matches.

Svarich then began the 2023-2024 season in his home province in the Alberta Jr. Hockey League. But then the Timmins Rock came calling in mid October and Svarich jumped at the chance to return to the NOJHL with the arch rivals of his former Hearst team.

To say that Svarich has been a Rock star in Timmins would be simply stating the obvious. In just 29 games in a Timmins uniform, Svarich has hit the 30 goal mark and added 19 assists for good measure.

Thus far, in total, in 86 regular season games in the NOJHL between Hearst and Timmins, Svarich has lit it up with 60 goals.
