Iroquois Falls Storm goalie Connor Hatfield put on a Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League performance for the ages in a recent 6-5 loss to the Timmins Rock.

The big 20-year old net minder — who was acquired from the Soo Thunderbirds earlier in the season — made a remarkable 77 saves as Iroquois Falls managed a point from the game, which was eventually decided via the shootout. Timmins outshot Iroquois Falls by a margin of 82 to 32. Hailing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Hatfield is in his first season in the NOJHL.

Iroquois Falls is in fourth place — and in current possession of a playoff spot — in the East Division of the NOJHL with 24 points, which is 34 less than first place Timmins.
