What you think about “A first for the Mattawa Blackhawks”

  1. good to see, there are many great memmories that I have of playing hockey in Mattawa as a young boy we traveled over there from Barrydowne and end up with my parents and there friends from Mattawa (the Janveau’s) at the Voyageur and then Mom had to drive home cause Dad had a few ha ha. Oh ya those were good days.

  2. The crowd was quite loud in Mattawa, it took some Powassan fans by surprise, the 3rd period reminded the people of Mattawa what it was like in the old highschool hockey days with the cheering fans. I also was surprised with attendance with the opening day of hunting starting Saturday!

  3. Congrats to the Blackhawks, sure there are more to come.

Just saw the rankings posted this week. Hard to believe the Crunch is an honourable mention as they are yet to beat any of the top 6 in the NOJHL.
