A pair of American-born skaters will be returning to the Espanola Express of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League for a second season.

HockeyNewsNorth.com has confirmed that 1996 birth-year defenseman Riley Tilot and 1996 birth-year winger Aaron Roschinsky will be back on board the Express.

A Pulaski, Wisconsin native, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Tilot played big minutes for Espanola in 2015-2016 and produced 3 goals, 14 assists, 17 points.

“Riley will be an anchor for us this year on the back end, he is the type of defenceman that we can trust in all situations and know he will excel while doing it,” said Express president Chad Clarke.

Roschinsky, meanwhile, who hails from Canton, Michigan netted 7 goals, 11 assists, 18 points and racked up 85 penalty minutes on the Express lane in ’15-16.

“Aaron plays a physical game and adds a ton of grit to our team. We expect Aaron to have a breakout year offensively this upcoming season,” said Clarke. “There isn’t a team in the league that doesn’t know exactly who he is and are very aware when he is on the ice.”
