Beavers, Express make a deal
Nearby Highway 17 rivals Blind River Beavers and Espanola Express have exchanged forwards in a Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League trade, Hockey News North has confirmed.
Espanola has acquired 2002 birth year import Hunter Berry from Blind River for Kyle Caron, who has a 2004 birth date.
Berry has five goals, eight assists, 13 points thus far this season while Caron has 4-5-9 totals.
