Beavers make move with Elmira
Blind River Beavers of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League have made a player exchange with the Elmira Sugar Kings of the Greater Ontario Jr. Hockey League, HockeyNewsNorth.com has confirmed.
Acting on the player’s request for a transfer, Blind River has dealt 1998 birth-year defenseman Matthew Murray to Elmira.
The Beavers receive cash in return for Murray, a Thessalon, Ont. product who started the 2015-2016 season with the Soo Thunderbirds of the NOJHL before being traded to Blind River.
