What you think about “Birds best Barons behind Culina”

  1. Culina is the “real deal” it sure does seam.
Lissened to your Hockey North Show last nite RR … I always enjoy lissening to you and Cain banter back and forth with your Views.

  2. One would have to wonder about the Abitibi KL trade. Would hate to see the impact player in the trade come back to haunt you in a potential playoff series. Trades to division rivals should be made with caution……

  3. Stix,
You talking from Abitibi’s stand point or KL?
I think Eskis did pretty good here considering the player wanted out. I think Hautanen will have a chance to show his offensive side and may even prove this was a good trade for the eskis, we’ll see, time will tell.
I see your point though Lauzon can make a difference if he stays healty…

  4. Culina made four or five amazing saves last night to keep his club in the game throughout the night, as per usual the Soo Scored when need ! good hockey team !

  5. ESKI01,
Would have to say that the best overall player in the deal is Lauzon. There was a lack of grit on the roster until some recent moves that brought in some toughness up front. Agree with you on the injury aspect – live by the sword, die by the sword…..tough to play that style every night and stay healthy. Lafleur will not allow the running around that he had a penchant for in Abitibi.
