Birds seek sixth straight win
Winners of five straight games, Soo Thunderbirds play host to the Abitibi Eskimos tonight in a 7:30 match at John Rhodes Community Centre.
The Thunderbirds take a 7-2 record into tonight’s Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League game against Abitibi, which sports a 6-3-1 mark.
Four forwards have already scored at least 10 points for the Thunderbirds in their nine games to date.
Nic Tassone leads the T-Bird scoring parade with 6 goals, 9 assists, 15 points followed by rookie Nic Sicoly at 6-5-11, Jaren Bellini at 5-6-11 and Nathan Hebert at 2-8-10.
