Soo Thunderbirds won their 23rd game in a row on Wednesday, upending the Elliot Lake Bobcats 5-1 before 327 fans at Rankin Arena.
Captain Gavin Burbach scored two more goals to pace the Thunderbirds.
Burbach’s 41 goals and 76 points are tops in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League.
The latest Soo triumph improves its record atop the NOJHL standings to 41-4-2.
Vary nice to see such a nice Crowd at the Rankin ….. 300+ fan’s tells me that the Ranking shood be home to a Junior Team once again!!!!! Lets get moving on this dammit!
