Crunch time for Thunderbirds
Cochrane Crunch makes its first visit of the 2014-2015 season to Sault Ste. Marie tonight when it takes on the first-place Thunderbirds at John Rhodes Community Centre.
Game time is 7:30 p.m.
The Thunderbirds lead the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League with 40 points from a record of 19-3-2 while Cochrane has 30 points from a 14-8-2 mark.
Nic Tassone leads the Thunderbirds in scoring with 16 goals, 22 assists, 38 points.
Next on the T-Bird points perch are Jaren Bellini at 16-13-29, rookie Nic Sicoly at 12-13-25, Joey Miller at 7-18-25 and Anthony Miller at 10-12-22.
