A mere six points are all that separate the six teams of the West Division of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League heading into play this week.

And it is the Sudbury Cubs who lead the pack in a hotly-contested west side where all six teams have won at least two games thus far.

With 10 points from a record of 5-3-0, Sudbury is a single point ahead of both the 4-1-1 Soo Thunderbirds and the 4-3-1 Blind River Beavers.

Next up, with six points from only five games played are the 3-2-0 Soo Eagles.

And not far behind with four points apiece are the 2-4-0 Elliot Lake Red Wings and the 2-5-0 Espanola Express.

Meanwhile, veteran forward Kyler Campbell, acquired by Sudbury in an off season trade with the thus far win-less, 0-5-1 Kirkland Lake Gold Miners, leads all NOJHL players in scoring with nine goals, three assists, 12 points.
