Cubs in clear control
Back to back road victories in Hearst have given the reigning champion Sudbury Cubs a three games to one lead on the Lumberjacks in their Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League title series.
Sudbury scored 6-1 and 5-1 wins up in Hearst and can take its second successive league championship with a win at home on Friday night. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m. at Countryside Sports Complex.
Hearst began the series with a stunning 6-2 road victory before Sudbury used home ice to eke out a 5-4 overtime win in Game 2.
Since then, the Cubs have been in complete command to seize control of the best of seven series.
awesome
Looks like Hearst losing that second game in the last minute and ot took the winds out of their sails. Hopefully they can bounce back but not looking good.
