Good teams usually get good goaltending as part of the victory formula. Very good teams usually get very good goaltending as part of the victory formula.

Noah Beaulne

The pace setting — and reigning champion — Sudbury Cubs of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League just happen to have two exceptional goalies tending the crease between the pipes.

Noah Beaulne is the veteran with a 2004 birth date. Matthew Vahramian is the younger one with a 2006 birth date.

The Cubs currently sit atop the standings among the 12 teams of the NOHL with 36 points from a record of 17-2-2. And both Beaulne and Vahramian have the numbers that back up their net worth to Sudbury.

The 6 foot 2, 190 pound Beaulne has a record of 10-1-2 to go with a 2.21 goals against average and .915 save percentage.

Matthew Vahramian

Meanwhile, the 5 foot 11, 155 pound Vahramian has a record of 7-1-0 to go with a 2.24 goals against average and .926 save percentage.

In an NOJHL that features a good number of high end goalies, the Cubs have two of their own in Beaulne and Vahramian.
