Dearing boys and Gartshore
Three members of the AA Under 18 Soo Jr. Greyhounds made impressions as affiliate players when the Blind River Beavers and Espanola Paper Kings faced off in a recent Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League game.
Goalie Peter Gartshore made 41 saves as Blind River scored a 9-6 decision over Espanola. Meanwhile, for the Paper Kings, Logan Dearing scored a goal and his twin brother Nick picked up an assist.
All three players were making their NOJHL debuts. Gartshore and the Dearing brothers all have 2007 birth dates.
