Dryden to Cochrane

Hulking defenseman Tie Jacobs is back in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League after part of a season in the Superior International Jr. Hockey League.

Cochrane Crunch of the NOJHL has obtained the rights of the 6-foot-5, 205 pound Jacobs in an exchange with the Dryden Ice Dogs of the SIJHL.

Regular season and playoffs included, Jacobs had two assists in 22 games with Dryden in 2021-2022 after being acquired from the French River Rapids of the NOJHL in January of this year. Jacobs, who has a 2003 birth date, had one assist in 11 games with French River prior to heading to Dryden.
