Eagles boss impressed with camp
Soo Eagles of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League held a spring camp on the weekend that attracted 36 players, including 11 veterans.
“It was a good turnout,” Eagles co-coach/general manager Bruno Bragagnolo told HockeyNewsNorth.com. “There were several good prospects among the new players that I was impressed with.”
Bragagnolo said that of the 25 newcomers who were in attendance at the weekend session, 15 have been invited back to the Eagles main tryout camp, which will be held in late August.
NOJHL teams can begin signing players for the 2016-2017 season on June 1.
