Soo Eagles of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League have added a fourth player who skated for the Batchewana Attack of the now-dormant Canadian International Hockey League in 2014-2015.

The latest high-end forward to join the Eagles from the erstwhile Batchewana entry is 1996 birth-year pivot Nate Harris, who tallied 18 goals in 32 games with the CIHL champs.

Harris, who hails from the Chicago area, “adds some more offense to our team,” noted Eagles coach-general manager Bruno Bragagnolo.

In committing to the Eagles for the 2015-2016 campaign, Harris joins former Batchewana teammates Jacob Palmerio, Chris Skinner and Kendall Huckins on a Michigan Soo squad that is returning to the NOJHL after three seasons in the North American Hockey League.

In addition to the four aforementioned forwards, the Eagles earlier signed several other players preparatory to the start of the 2015-2016 season, which begins during the second week of September.

That list includes forwards Landon Hubbard, Brad Hofelich and Korey Muzzy, defencemen Alex DiBacco and Levi Rowan and goalie Jack Deines.

MAIN TRYOUT CAMP

The Eagles will be holding their main tryout camp on August 14, 15 and 16 at Big Bear Ice Arena in the Michigan Soo.

Cost for the camp is $150 per player.

Players can register via the Eagles web site: www.sooeagles.net.
