EL Vikings unveil jerseys
As Hockey News North has reported extensively on over the past few days, there is new ownership and a new moniker for the Elliot Lake team of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League.
Paul Noad has sold the Elliot Lake Red Wings to long-time local resident Jef Jarmovitch, who has rebranded the team as the Elliot Lake Vikings. The Vikings first represented Elliot Lake as a junior hockey franchise in 1965. Along with the return to the roots of the Vikings in name is a return to the original team colours.
