Espanola v. French River tonight
Two Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League expansion teams will face off tonight.
Seeking their first-ever, regular-season win, the French River Rapids will play host to the Espanola Express in a 7:30 start at Noelville Arena.
French River takes a record of 0-12 into tonight’s game while Espanola has a mark of 1-12.
Both teams are coached by veteran junior hockey bench bosses who are also former Ontario Hockey League and National Hockey League standouts from their playing days.
