Walleye on the Express
Espanola Express of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League has acquired a trio of skaters from the Kam River Walleye of the Superior International Jr. Hockey League, president and head coach Jason Rapcewicz has confirmed to Hockey News North.
Looking to add a veteran presence to the young Express, Rapcewicz has obtained the troika of 2001 birth year players from the Fighting Walleye in a cash exchange.
Heading from Kam River to Espanola are big defenseman Zachary Fulton and Caleb Resch and hulking forward Ben Couvier.
All three players are from Western Canada.
I would wonder why a new team like the Walleye would dump three older guys !!
Mmm red flag But sometimes you have to clear out some of them good deal for every one!
When I coached Jr A in Southern Ontario could win with the kids n on issues off ice on ice go through the wall for you just saying .
