Espanola to Cleveland, Ohio

Espanola Paper Kings of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League have confirmed the commitment of forward Callum Millar to Hiram College of Cleveland effective the ’26-27 season. Hiram is a Division 3, National Collegiate Athletic Association school.

A 2005 birth year forward, Millar managed 13 goals, 13 assists, 26 points in 52 NOJHL games for the Paper Kings in ’25-26, playoffs included.

“I’m looking forward to the next challenge in my career of playing college hockey. I’m thankful for the opportunity I had to spend my final year of junior in Espanola and appreciate all the support I received from the coaches, management, teammates, billets and fans throughout the season,” relayed Millar.

Millar’s general manager and head coach from Espanola both chimed in on their graduated forward’s commitment to college hockey.

“We want to thank Callum for his efforts with organization and wish him the best in school and in life,” relayed Paper Kings general manager Marc Gagnon.

And Paper Kings head coach Jason Rapciewicz noted that “Callum was a solid contributor for us and we look forward to seeing him doing the same at Hiram College.”

Hiram College is based in Cleveland, Ohio where the Terriers are an independent NCAA D3 program.
