Game 7 for Beavers, Birds
One game will determine the victor of the opening round Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League playoff series between the no. 3 seed Blind River Beavers and the no. 6 seed Soo Thunderbirds.
Game 7 of the hotly contested set is slated for Tuesday night in Blind River.
Two players — one from each team — have stood out offensively thus far through six games of the series. Owen King has clicked for five goals for Blind River while Callum McAuley has found range four times for the Thunderbirds.
Between the pipes, Noah Metivier has been in the net for all three Soo wins while Connor Dunham-Fox has two of Blind River’s three victories.
