Parker Simpson is returning to the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League scene in Elliot Lake.
The former NOJHL goalie is now an NOJHL goalie coach, Hockey News North has confirmed.
Simpson, who just turned 21 years old in July, has joined the new Elliot Lake Red Wings of the NOJHL as their goalie coach.
Simpson played two seasons in the NOJHL with the erstwhile Elliot Lake Wildcats. In 26 games of tending twine for the lowly Wildcats, Simpson had an impressive .915 save percentage while posting a 4.21 goals against average and a record of 7-13-1.
