A 2005 birth year forward, the 6 foot 2, 200 pound Guthrie has played in 159 career games in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League for Espanola over three years– regular season and playoffs included — and has produced 48 goals, 71 assists, 119 points.

Paper Kings general manager Marc Gagnon relayed to Hockey News North that “Guthrie is entering his fourth and last season with us and the big forward will be counted on even more this year with scoring touch and physical play. We are certainly happy that he has made Espanola his destination of choice for all four junior hockey seasons.”

And Espanola’s president and head coach Jason Rapcewicz noted that, “we are very happy to have Guthrie back and bringing in three years of juniors experience back to us.”
