Hat trick for Lafleur?

I am not saying that Marc Lafleur is the best coach in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League. But I doubt there is anyone who is better than the 46-year old bench boss of the Powassan Voodoos.

To be sure, Lafleur is a celebrated coach who has won championships with two different teams in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League.

Lafleur coached and managed his hometown Hearst Lumberjacks to the NOJHL championship in 2018-2019.

And prior to that, Lafleur won an NOJHL championship as coach and general manager of the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners in 2013-2014.

Now, as he prepares for his first season as the head coach in Powassan, Lafleur is in a position to possibly score a hat trick and lead the Voodoos to the championship.

Only difference in this, his third NOJHL stop, is that Lafleur is coach and not coach and general manager.

But what a story it would be if Lafleur could achieve further fame by winning an NOJHL championship with his third different team.

Question for you. Other than Marc, has there been another person who has won the Championship with two different teams?
