Mario Culina is player-of-the-month
Soo Thunderbirds rookie goalie Mario Culina has been named the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League’s player-of-the-month for December.
In four starts during December, the 1997 birth-year goalie posted a record of 4-0 to go with a 1.50 goals-against-average and a .910 save percentage.
