Net return for Paper Kings
Espanola Paper Kings president and head coach Jason Rapcewicz has confirmed the return of veteran goalie Jake Marois for the 2023-2024 Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League season.

The 6-foot, 190 pound Marois was a workhorse between the pipes in backstopping the Paper Kings to an NOJHL West Division playoff spot in 2022-2023.
A 2003 birth year goalie, Marois had a regular season record of 16-16-2 with a 3.55 goals against average and .914 save percentage. And even though Espanola lost to the first place Sudbury Cubs in five games in the opening round of last spring’s playoffs, Marois kept the Paper Kings close with a 3.04 goals against average and .928 save percentage in five games.
Very solid young man and a bonus type goalie for the Paper Kings. Best of luck and success Jake
