Espanola Express of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League has signed free agent goalie Dylan Kosik, Hockey News North has confirmed.

The 20-year old Kosik has played for a number of teams over the past few seasons, including the Fort Frances Lakers, Thunder Bay North Stars and Dryden Ice Dogs of the Superior International Jr. Hockey League. He had winning records during each of his three stops in the SIJHL.

Espanola takes a record of 8-15-2 into the NOJHL’s resumption of play this week. The Express holds down the fifth and final playoff spot in the league’s West Division with 18 points, which is three more than the Elliot Lake Red Wings — and with Espanola holding five games in hand.
