Cochrane Crunch of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League has reached out all the way to Canada’s east coast to sign a high scoring skater.

Hailing from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Tyler Curnew is a 5-foot-9, 160 pound, 2004 birth year forward. Curnew has been recruited to Cochrane by Crunch owner and head coach Tom Nickolau, who scouted the youngster at a recent summer showcase tournament.
