NOJHL East heats up
Hearst Lumberjacks and Kirkland Lake Gold Miners are putting the heat on the pace-setting Powassan Voodoos in the East Division of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League.
Hearst — which has won four straight games — and Kirkland Lake have both moved to within five points of Powassan.
The Lumberjacks (6-3-0) and Gold Miners (6-2-0) both have 12 points and are within range of the Voodoos, who have 17 points from a near-perfect record of 8-0-1.
Timmins Rock is holding steady in fourth place with 9 points from a record of 4-4-1.
Next up are the Cochrane Crunch, with 6 points from a 3-6-0 record and the French River Rapids, who are 1-8-1 for 3 points.
Cochrane looks to be in big trouble they better make some moves and get rid of some of there over hyped 20 year olds… maybe the room is wrecked Randy
