Potentially-bad weather conditions have caused the postponement of tonight’s Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League game in Blind River, Hockey News North has confirmed.

The Beavers were slated to play the nearby Elliot Lake Wildcats tonight at the Blind River Community Centre.

A message from the NOJHL confirmed the postponement of tonight’s scheduled match between the Beavers and Wildcats. The statement is as follows:

“The cause of the postponement comes after the company the Wildcats charter their bus with advised the team against traveling to Blind River due to potential unsafe road conditions on the highway, including the possibility of freezing rain.”
