Barring an improbable comeback or two, the Soo Thunderbirds and Cochrane Crunch will face off for the 2014-2015 Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League championship.

Both teams have 3-0 leads in their respective best-of-seven, NOJHL semi-final playoffs.

The Soo is up on the expansion Elliot Lake Wildcats and Cochrane has its lead on another first-year entry, the Powassan Voodoos.

Both series resume tonight.

The Thunderbirds are seeking their fourth straight appearance in the NOJHL finals.
