NOJHL title series slate

The Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League has finalized the best of seven schedule for the championship series between the Timmins Rock and Soo Thunderbirds.

The series begins on Thursday in Timmins, with the Rock also hosting Game 2 the following evening at McIntyre Arena.

Heading to John Rhodes Community Centre in the Soo for the next two contests, Game 3 will go Sunday, April 23, followed by Game 4 in the Soo on Monday, April 24.

If required, Game 5 will be held on Wednesday, April 26, in Timmins. Should a Game 6 be needed, the Thunderbirds will host it on Sunday, April 30. Then, if necessary, Game 7 would be played on Tuesday, May 2.

The NOJHL final will also be streamed live and on demand, via HockeyTV.com.

The NOJHL champion will move on to compete in the Centennial Cup, Canadian Jr. A Championship Tournament, which is slated for May 11-21, in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

Game 3: Sunday, April 23 @ Soo 6 p.m. (John Rhodes Community Centre)
Game 4: Monday, April 24 @ Soo 7 p.m. (John Rhodes Community Centre)
Game 5: Wednesday, April 26 @ Timmins 7 p.m. (McIntyre Arena)
Game 6: Sunday, April 30 @ Soo 7 p.m. (John Rhodes Community Centre)
Game 7*: Tuesday, May 2 @ Timmins 7 p.m. (McIntyre Arena)
