Blind River Beavers have forced a seventh and deciding game in their opening round, Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League playoff series with the Espanola Paper Kings.

Staring elimination straight in the kisser for the second straight game, the Beavers eked out a 3-2 road decision over the Paper Kings in front of a Good Friday gathering of more than 500 fans at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex.

A power play goal by Michael Gallagher early in the third period stood as the winning goal for Blind River, which at one time trailed the best of seven series three games to one.

The stage is now set for Game 7 on Easter Sunday in a 2 p.m. match at the Blind River Community Centre.
