Owen Headrick and two LSSU coaches
As HockeyNewsNorth.com was first to report on Wednesday, Soo Thunderbirds defenceman Owen Headrick has committed to play for the Lake Superior State University Lakers of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association effective the 2015-2016 season.
In the meantime, Headrick will play a second season — the 2014-2015 campaign — in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League with the Thunderbirds.
And as HockeyNewsNorth.com was first to report the Headrick commitment, we are also first to get a photo of him with two LSSU coaches — Damon Whitten and Peter Aubry. (see above.)
