Powassan to Flint
Hulking forward Alex Bradshaw has signed with the Flint Firebirds of the Ontario Hockey League following a productive season with the Powassan Voodoos of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League.
Bradshaw, who has a 2004 birth date, netted 24 goals, nine assists, 33 points in 37 NOJHL games — regular season and playoffs — for Powassan in 2021-2022. Bradshaw’s OHL rights had been obtained by Flint from the Erie Otters at the 2022 OHL trade deadline.
“We are excited to officially welcome Alex to the organization,” Firebirds general manager and head coach Ted Dent said of the 6-foot-4, 185 pound Bradshaw. “He brings in good size and skill to our hockey club. We look forward to getting to work with him in the coming months.”
