Espanola Rivermen are one win away from advancing to the second round of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League playoffs.

The Rivermen lead the Sudbury Nickel Barons 3-0 in the best-of-seven series and will be on the road to try to complete the sweep tonight.

Espanola has won the first three games of the series by 6-3, 5-2, 6-2 scores.

But it is not as though Sudbury has lacked for shots on the Espanola net.

Through the three games, Sudbury has recorded 116 shots on goal but has scored only seven times on Rivermen goalie Marc Terriault.

In starting and finishing all three games in the series to date, Terriault has a 3-0 record, 2.33 goals-against-average and .940 save percentage.
