Rock on to another round

Timmins Rock used a perfect 3-0 record on home ice to put a sock on the lock to the second round of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League playoffs.

A 5-2 win over the no. 5 seed Soo Eagles in Game 6 of the best of seven playoff series gave no. 4 Timmins the set 4-2.

Forward Jack Kelly and goalie Dryden Riley stood out for the Rock in the series.

Kelly clicked for four goals, three assists, seven points. And Riley had a 4-2 record with a 2.36 goals against average and .944 save percentage.
