Rock star Harroun in tune
Prize acquisition Brady Harroun continues to be an early season sensation for the Timmins Rock. Harroun scored twice on Tuesday as Timmins trimmed the Hearst Lumberjacks 5-1 to remain unbeaten in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League standings.
Harroun now has four goals, four assists and a league leading eight points for Timmins, which has won all three of its games thus far this season.
Hailing from St. Albert, Alberta, the 20-year old forward was acquired by the Rock in an off season trade with the reigning Superior International Jr. Hockey League champion Red Lake Miners.
Looks like the Rock will be a force again this season.
It will be very surprising if Harroun and Pigeon don’t finish as the top 2 scorers in the league.
