Rock star Mason Svarich
It did not take recently acquired forward Mason Svarich very long to make an impact for the reigning Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League champion Timmins Rock.
In his first appearance for Timmins since arriving via the Alberta Jr. Hockey League, the 20-year old Svarich fired three goals, added an assist and was named the game’s first as the Rock rolled past the visiting Blind River Beavers by a 6-2 score in a Friday night match at McIntyre Arena.
