Soo Eagles to Soo Indians
Soo Eagles of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League have assigned 1998 birth-year forward Sasha Miniouchine to the Soo Indians major midgets.
Eagles coach-general manager Bruno Bragagnolo confirmed the transfer of the 5-foot-7, 170-pound Miniouchine to HockeyNewsNorth.com.
“He’s a player we really like a lot but he’s still really young and he needs the opportunity to play more,” Bragagnolo said of Miniouchine. “He’s in good hands with (coach) Pat Carricato and the Soo Indians.”
In seven NOJHL games with the Eagles this season, Miniouchine had three assists.
The Indians will play host to Detroit Little Caesars in a pair of games this weekend at Pullar Stadium — Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m.
Good little player he will be a future Star player for the Eagles!!!!!
