T-Birds changing coaches
Cole Jarrett has reportedly handed the head coach duties of the Soo Thunderbirds of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League to his long-time sidekick, Hockey News North has been advised.
Jamie Henderson is ostensibly taking the reins of the NOJHL team from Jarrett, who has been doing double duty as head coach of the Under 14 AAA Soo Jr. Greyhounds. As for Henderson, he adds the head coach title with the Thunderbirds to his other role as general manager.
The Thunderbirds are currently in seventh place in the 12-team NOJHL with a record of 12-13-2.
