T-Birds trade for defenceman
Soo Thunderbirds of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League have obtained defenceman Jake Behse from the New York Bobcats of the Eastern Hockey League in a cash exchange.
The 1997 birth-year defenceman was a fifth-round pick of the Soo Greyhounds at the 2013 Ontario Hockey League draft.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Behse hails from Thunder Bay.
