Temang to Powassan

Powassan Voodoos of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League have added a high-scoring defenceman from the nearby Temiscaming Titans of the Greater Metro Jr. Hockey League.

Joining Powassan via free-agent signing is Dayton Murray, who racked up 27 goals, 27 assists, 54 points in 31 games for Temang in 2015-2016.

The Spruce Grove, Alberta product is looking forward to joining the Voodoos for the 2016-2017 season.

“I want to advance in my hockey and strive for higher levels of play,” said Murray. “The Voodoos organization has been very welcoming and supportive to me and I am excited for the upcoming season.”
