Temple has a hockey Pool
Timmins Rock of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League has confirmed that graduated defenceman Elijah Pool has committed to Pennsylvania-based Temple University of the Division 1, American Collegiate Hockey Association ahead of the ’25-26 season.
A dependable mainstay on the Rock blue line over two full seasons up in Timmins, Pool — who hails from St. Albert, Alberta — suited up in a total of 105 NOJHL games after originally skating in the Superior International Jr. Hockey League.
As members of the ACHA, the aforementioned Temple University Owls compete out of the nine school Eastern Collegiate Hockey Association Conference.
