Thunderbirds add Devin Shell
Devin Shell is back home.
Soo Thunderbirds of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League have acquired the 1995 birth-year forward from the Cambridge Winter Hawks of the Greater Ontario Jr. Hockey League in a cash exchange.
A Sault Ste. Marie native, Shell was in his second season in Cambridge.
In joining the Thunderbirds, Shell is re-united with several former teammates from seasons with the AAA midget Soo North Stars including Brian Kment, Brandon Grandinetti, Jaren Bellini, Nathan Hebert, Joey Miller, Matt Pinder and Matt Mitchell.
The Thunderbirds are in action tonight when they play host to the Sudbury Nickel Barons in a 7:30 p.m. match at John Rhodes Community Centre.
